Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare Original video above from the 1975 album welcome to my nightmare.

Welcome to my nightmare, I think you're gonna like it, I think you're gonna feel you belong.

A nocturnal vacation, unnecessary sedation, you want to feel at home 'cause you belong.

Welcome to my nightmare whoa, ho, ho, ho...

Lyrics:
Welcome to my breakdown.
I hope I didn't scare you.
That's just the way we are when we come down.
We sweat and laugh and scream here.
'Cause life is just a dream here.
You know inside you feel right at home, here.
Yeah, Welcome to my nightmare yeah, hey, hey, hey...

Welcome to my nightmare!
I think you're gonna like it!
I think you're gonna feel you belong!
We sweat and laugh and scream here!
'Cause life is just a dream here!
You know inside you feel right at home, here!

Welcome to my nightmare hoo, hoo, woo, hoo...
Welcome to my breakdown...

No, this isn't the "video" ----- the term "music video" hadn't even been invented yet. Things like this were called "films" and if you used "video" no one knew what you were talking about. This was 1975 when emulsion based film was king. MTV would enter the scene in the next decade and probably was responsible for the switch in terms. For those too young to remember, the first MTV was nothing but back-to-back music videos without the first commercial or talking head. The first interruption was the "VJ's" and from there came the commercials and finally the thing it is today. Youtube has followed the same path. First commercials on some videos, then commercials on most videos with the option to cancel and go on to whatever you wanted to see. Now we have to watch full advertising with no chance to opt out, and commercials are even beginning to appear mid-video. Enjoy these good times while they last.
